Hi, I’m glad you’re here.

I’m a Registered Counselling Therapist with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I identify as queer, and I know how important it is to be met with understanding, especially in therapeutic spaces.

I work with teens (14+) and adults who are navigating things like anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and identity exploration. I’m especially passionate about working with members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and I’m committed to creating a space that’s inclusive, affirming, and deeply respectful of your lived experience.

My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. I bring curiosity, honesty, and sometimes even a bit of humor into our sessions as therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. We’ll move at your pace, centering your goals, your values, and your voice every step of the way.

I draw on a mix of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, including Brainspotting, a powerful method for processing trauma and emotional pain, as well as Compassion-Focused Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy. These approaches help support deeper self-understanding, emotional regulation, and a stronger connection to the parts of yourself that may have been dismissed or shut down. Together, we’ll build a toolbox that feels authentic and useful to you.

Outside the therapy room, I love being near the ocean. Going for walks on beaches, small adventures, and spending time with my partner and our dog, Sully. I’m also a big fan of creative expression, and I often turn to painting or knitting as a way to recharge and reflect.

If something here resonates with you, I’d be honored to connect. Starting therapy is a brave, meaningful step and you don’t have to take it alone.
