Hi, I’m glad you’re here!

I’m a Registered Counselling Therapist with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Through my own experience with therapy, I know how important it is to have a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.

I work with teens (14+) and adults who are navigating challenges such as trauma, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and life transitions. I hold a special commitment to supporting members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and I strive to offer a space that is inclusive, affirming, and deeply respectful of your lived experience.

My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. I bring curiosity, honesty, and sometimes even a bit of humor into our sessions as therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. We'll move at your pace, centering your goals, your values, and your voice every step of the way.

I draw on a mix of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, including Brainspotting, a powerful method for processing trauma and emotional pain, as well as Compassion-Focused Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy. These approaches help support deeper self-understanding, emotional regulation, and a stronger connection to the parts of yourself that may have been dismissed or shut down. Together, we’ll build a toolbox that feels authentic and useful to you.

Outside the therapy room, I love being near the ocean. Going for walks on beaches, exploring our province, and spending time with my partner and our dog, Sully. I enjoy creative expression, and I often turn to painting or knitting as a way to recharge and reflect.

If something here resonates with you, I’d be honored to connect. Starting therapy is a brave, meaningful step and you don’t have to take it alone.
